A resident of Tallaght for over 30 years Donegal native and local TD Eamonn Maloney presents this beautiful collection of work depicting Tallaght as it were. With fascinating chapters including those on the Kearney family who lived in a cottage in Bohernabreena - the father and two sons of which were hung in the 1800s - and the story of Katherine Tynan whose literary contribution is a constant source of pride to the local community - and indeed the country.

Tallaght A Place With History offers a unique insight into the colourful past of one of the fastest-growing suburbs of Dublin. World-renowned composer Handel spent a time there - just some of the interesting facts in store.
